About the Role

The Sterile Services Assistant I supports laboratory operations by ensuring labware and equipment are cleaned, sterilized, and maintained for research and manufacturing use. This role follows strict quality, safety, and sterility standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean, rinse, wash, inspect, and prepare laboratory glassware and labware for sterilization
- Load and unload autoclaves and verify proper sterilization cycles
- Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation
- Clean and disinfect laboratory equipment, carts, and work areas
- Follow aseptic and clean room procedures
- Comply with safety, ISO, and FDA quality standards

Qualifications

- Dependable, detail-oriented, and well organized
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good communication skills
- Dishwashing or laboratory experience a plus

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

- Climate-controlled laboratory setting
- Must wear required safety and clean room attire
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 55 lbs occasionally
