Quality Control Product Specialist Supervisor

The Opportunity:
Streck is seeking a driven and experienced Quality Control leader for our Quality Control Product Specialist Supervisor role to lead a QC Product Specialist team within the Quality Division. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations of the department, design and implement effective QC strategies, champion compliance, be the technical product subject matter expert, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact the quality of our products. You will report to the Quality Control Manager and serve as a key technical resource across the organization.
What You'll Do:
- Plan, organize, schedule, and direct the daily activities of all QC Product Specialists.
- Ensure products meet regulatory, safety, and customer expectations — both internal and external.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert on product performance attributes for teams and external partners.
- Review and approve work completed within the QC Product Specialist department.
- Train direct reports, verify competency, and ensure appropriate skill levels across the team to support the various business segments.
- Design, document, establish, and maintain all QC testing protocols to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support career development for direct reports.
- Actively participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members.
- Identify and drive process improvement projects within the Quality Control department.
- Collaborate with QC Leadership on departmental goals and organizational objectives.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in STEM field preferred, an Associate's degree with applicable work experience will be considered.
- Experience working in an ISO/FDA-regulated environment with prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Dependable, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Hands-on knowledge of laboratory instruments including Hematology, Molecular, and Flow Cytometry.
- Working knowledge of statistical techniques and quality management systems.
