About Streck
: Streck is a Nebraska-based manufacturing company that makes a global impact by developing and distributing to labs worldwide. Our products provide confidence for accurate health care testing! Our passions and priorities are focused on taking care of our customers, employees, and giving back to our community. Streck has jobs for every stage of your career. If you are a dependable, hard-working, and team-oriented individual who values meaningful work, Streck is looking for you to join our community of passionate people on a mission!
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own onboarding from start to finish — verifying paperwork, prepping materials, and making sure every system and process is ready for a great first day.
- Lead new hire orientation, including presenting to new employees, answering questions, and entering their information into our systems.
- Administer our employee engagement, retention, and recognition programs, including service awards and recognition programs.
- Maintain and organize our job description library (HR business partners handle creation/editing — you keep it current and accessible).
- Keep our HRIS (UKG) data accurate across the employee lifecycle — data entry, employment changes, audits, and reporting leaders can rely on.
- Manage employee personnel and medical files, including regular audits for compliance and completeness.
- Support our compliance obligations as a federal contractor — recordkeeping, affirmative action data, E-Verify, audit readiness, and training compliance tracking across a multistate, remote workforce.
- Build process documentation and standard work so our programs stay consistent and repeatable.
- Help administer enterprise learning and leadership development programs — scheduling, enrollment, logistics, LMS administration, and completion tracking (approx. 25% of the role).
- Take on other HR projects as assigned — this role has room to grow with the department's priorities.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Communication, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in human resources, program or project coordination, or a related role.
- A track record of running programs independently and moving them forward once priorities are set.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail, with professionalism and discretion around confidential information.
- The ability to communicate tactfully and effectively — in person, on the phone, and in writing — with employees, applicants, vendors, and visitors.
HELPFUL EXPERIENCE
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS platform, ideally UKG.
- Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Proficiency with SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365.
